I just spent the last two hours unraveling a perfectly fine scarf. Why? Because I watched a video of a woman doing the same thing to a sweater. What was the purpose of her video? To recycle yarn. What do I plan on knitting? Nothing. Nada. Because I do not knit. So, why do it? I don’t have a good reason, except to say that I woke up this morning with a sore throat and aching body.
I did learn some things from my experience; 1. The scarf is not constructed from one single, long piece of yarn. 2. It was far more intircate than I had expected. There was only one portion of the scarf that easily pulled apart. Everything else was like untying loose knots. 3. It was constructed of TWO separate pieces of yarn and one piece of metallic thread, all knitted together as one. 4. I completely zoned out, unaware of everything and everyone. 5. I should learn to knit.
It took me two hours (give or take) and I didn’t even finish. Here is what I have to show for my efforts:
I am not sure if you can see it in the picture but, that was a Fossil scarf.
